Case Study Summaries Vibration Frequency Tests were conducted on Speedsoles at their lab in Arizona. Using a variety of sophisticated frequency monitors, they measured the speed of electrical currents in the body when Speedsoles were inserted in the participants' athletic shoes. Final Results: Electric current speed increased a minimum average of 10% when participants were using Speedsoles. |

New Blind Study Test for Strength & Durability by Dr. John Oleski Vice-President for the New England USA Track & Field Association, a prominent Sports Psychologist, and an accomplished researcher, who competes in Masters running events. Dr. Oleski recently completed an intensive, controlled, blind test study for endurance and strength with and without Speedsoles. 32 athletes participated -- 16 men and 16 women. They participated in a series of controlled tests involving hamstring curls and upper torso bench press with dual barbells. All participants maxed out their exercise reps with and without Speedoles. Significant measured test results revealed that participants increased their maximum reps on the average of 13% when using Speedsoles. Conclusion: Dr. Oleski's results revealed the 13% increase in endurance reps, signified an increase in strength when the participants were using Speedsoles. |

A Blind Stride-Length Study at USC by Robert Wiswell, PHD, Chairman of the Exercise Science Department at the time of the study University of Southern California. "We did a blind treadmill study at the University of Southern California on stride length improvement using Speedsoles versus placebo pads. "At 2.5 mph there were over 2.5 % fewer strides taken and at 4.5 mph there were approximately 4.5 % fewer strides taken with Speedsole material inserted in the participant's shoes." |
"Springbak's patented "Energy Return Design" is called the"Recoil Process" and is
featured in one of the latest publications by Dr. Michael Yessis entitled Explosive
Running. Dr. Yessis is regarded as one of the world's leading experts in the
field of bio-mechanics. He writes: |
"There is a new, simple piece of equipment developed that can improve one's strength
and speed. Speedsoles go in the shoe and when you stand on them you become
stronger." [Which is the result of improved electrical current flow to the
muscles.] "When running they allow an increased energy return from the insole."
[This in turn helps to improve running speed.] |

Speed Comparison Study Conducted at the track facilities of University of Southern California & Brigham Young University At USC: 8 sprinters using Speedsoles were selected to run in a sanctioned, midseason track meet when they were in top sprinting condition. The sprinters participated in the 100 & 200 meters. All the sprinters bested their officially clocked time for the season. At BYU: 6 BYU distance runners were selected to use Speedsoles in the midseason track meet sanctioned by the NCAA. Three participated in the 800 meters race and tree in the 1,500 meter race. All six runners bested their officially clocked times for the season. Overall results recorded: a 1.51% average improved time for the sprinters and for the distance runners -- with Speedsoles. |

By University Laboratories The ASTM Resiliency Test conducted by University Laboratories involved a comparison of "energy return" with three leading name brand athletic insoles versus the patented Speedsoles. In controlled tests a stainless steel round bearing weighing 4 ounces was used to measure energy return. From the height of 5 feet -- in a controlled environment -- the steel ball was dropped on the insoles placed on a hardwood basketball playing surface. The return from the bounce of the bearing was measured as the basis for the energy return. Final Results: The process was repeated 50 times with Speedsoles averaging an energy return of 81.5%. The average energy return for the 3 leading brands of athletic insoles were 23%, 27%, and 32% respectively |
